You bleed red?

Who doesn’t.

Even the earth when deeply rent

Spurts magma the color of rage

Bleed Blue instead

Only then

Will the world be impelled

To urgently sew your open wounds

And gently nurse those painful sores

Till they’re nothing but mere scars

So Bleed Blue

Child of Art

Bleed Blue

Bleed drop by rare blue drop

Till you’re dry as a husk

So when your passions set you alight

You may burn at your brightest

To illuminate a world that is drenched in darkness

Bleed Blue

Human vessel

It’s the hue the world craves

To color itself purple.
